ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Usman and I have a lot of experience and passion for fitness.

As a husband, father and employee, I can relate to the pressures and responsibilities people face in their daily lives and I can use

my own experiences to help them find ways to fit exercise and healthy living into their busy schedules and routines.

I am confident I can help others achieve their fitness goals and as a Level 3 REPs certified Personal Trainer,

I have the knowledge and qualifications to safely and effectively design and deliver fitness programs to a wide range of people.

My personal experience with fitness, and understanding of the challenges of balancing work and family with health,

makes me a great choice for clients who are also looking to make changes in their own lives.

In addition, my 15 years of experience in training others and going to the gym, I have the knowledge and

expertise to design effective and safe workout plans and provide clear and accurate instruction on exercise technique.

And I can be confident in my ability to motivate and support my clients as they work towards their goals.

All in all, my combination of personal experience, qualifications, and understanding of the challenges that people face in trying

to lead a healthy lifestyle, makes me a great choice for a personal trainer. I will provide not only the technical support,

but also the emotional support my clients might need to achieve their goals.

WHY DO I NEED A PERSONAL TRAINER?

One of the biggest advantages of working with a Personal Trainer is getting the individualised attention and guidance they can provide.

A Personal Trainer can:

  • Assess your fitness level
  • Design a workout plan that is tailored to your specific needs and goals, and
  • Provide ongoing support and motivation.

Additionally, having a personal trainer can help you stay accountable and motivated to stick to your fitness routine,

which can be especially helpful if you're new to exercise or if you've hit a plateau in your progress.

HOW CAN UR FITNESS HELP ME?

Being certified by REPs (the Register of Exercise Professionals) demonstrates that I have met certain standards in terms of education and

experience and am following a Code of Ethical conduct which would make sure that my clients have a safe and effective training experience.

Moreover, the fact that I have been personally transformed by the fitness lifestyle gives me an additional edge as a personal trainer,

as I can share my own personal experiences and understanding with my clients, which may help them stay motivated and achieve their goals.

I can use my knowledge, experience and certification to help people to change their lives and reach their fitness goals.

I cover a range of different fitness areas, as this allows me to offer a well-rounded fitness program that can meet the needs of a variety of clients.

Strength Training

  • Is an important aspect of any fitness routine, as it helps to build muscle, increase bone density, and improve overall physical function.
  • Resistance training using weights, bands, or bodyweight exercises can help you achieve these goals.

Muscle Building

  • Is another area that can be achieved by implementing strength training exercises.
  • Progressive resistance training is key for muscle growth, as well as consuming enough protein, carbohydrates and calorie for muscle recovery and growth.

Cardiovascular Training

  • Such as running, cycling, and swimming, is important for improving cardiovascular fitness, burning calories, and boosting cardiovascular health.
  • Cardio can also be added as a warm up or cool down to strength training routines.

Box Fit & Boxing

  • Is a great way to get a full body workout and improve cardiovascular fitness while learning self-defence techniques.
  • The sport of boxing has many benefits, such as hand-eye coordination, endurance and reflexes.

Football Training

  • Requires a combination of different type of training, such as speed, agility, quickness, endurance and strength.
  • Focus on proper warm-up, stretching, and skill-specific drills are important for an effective football training session.

Circuit Training

  • Is a type of workout that alternates between different exercises, typically in a "circuit" format.
  • This is a great way to combine both cardio and strength training in one workout, and can be modified to suit any fitness level.

Spinning

  • Is a high-intensity cardiovascular workout that typically involves riding a stationary bike.
  • This workout is great for improving cardiovascular fitness and burning calories, and it can also be modified for different fitness levels.

My Fitness Journey

My passion for fitness grew as early as my late teens when I realised I was severely over weight, border lining asthamatic, eating poorly, unable to participate in physical sports with friends, new clothes that I bought would no longer fit me within months and lots of other embarrassing realisations!

It was these key moments in my life where I realised I can be better in not only my health, but also in my mental health, my finances without having to keep replacing clothing and constantly eating out or take aways, my mobility and more. I believe I have come a long way from the overweight kid, shy and sheltered personality & sensitive to any comments related to my physique to now being the fit dad, confident in my apparel and in my demeanor.

See my goal isn’t just to get others in the best shape of their lives but to also help others understand the importance of looking after the body gifted to us, understand the importance of our diet and what the body is taking in, the positive and negative impacts of reaching/not reaching body goals & most importantly how all of this effects our way of thinking & living. I have a goal to help others be the best versions of themselves, and I want to do this in a controlled and balanced way.

As a personal trainer, it's important to understand that each person's fitness journey is unique and will be influenced by many factors, including their overall health, fitness level, and life goals.

These sessions are also not just about improving others but it also helps me improve myself as I am also a working progress and continuedly learning from so many different body types, background stories and personal struggles.

In summary, I look forward to helping you build the best version of yourself and I hope to be able to join you on your fitness journey!
